The first Blinder Road model was first introduced in 2012, and immediately set the standard by which cyclists' lights on roads are now measured.
The combination of lightweight design, perfect beam angles, powerful light output and a unique mounting system has made Blinder Road an instant classic.
Knog is now pleased to present two reworked versions of our favorite Blinder Road light. Now available with 400 and 600 lumens (compared to the previous 250 and 400L).
The new Blinder Road bicycle lights are the strongest lights for Knog road bikes.
Key functions and features
Powerful and lightweight - Using powerful LIPO batteries, Blinder Road can produce an extremely impressive light output of 400 or 600 lumens without the need for traditional heavy-duty batteries.
Functional appearance - a unique anodized aluminum light body, which also serves as a heat sink. The design used is stylish and versatile enough to fit most top cycling cockpits.
Waterproof and environmentally friendly - Blinder Road is 100% waterproof with IP68 protection. The light is charged via integrated USB, which means that no additional cables are needed to charge from the USB port.
Unique mounting system - A durable silicone strap combined with a polycarbonate clip allows Blinder Road to adapt to many different configurations required of today's road cyclists, many of whom have GPS systems on their bikes.
Advanced LED technology and optics - Blinder Road uses 2 LED chips. The left optics has a 12-degree beam for spot light - fast driving on straight roads, etc. While the right optics has a 32-degree beam for wide illumination - slower driving on bumpy or uneven roads. Each LED chip has different types of flashing and works independently of the others.
Intuitive user interface - allows the user to safely and easily switch between lighting, flashing, wide and spot modes.
